- Create standards and measures for progress tracking

- Receive recognition
- Receive rewards
I was hesitant about the 5th step since it has been shown that the higher the reward is, the lower the performance. My PIDP 3250 classmate Naveen found this video demonstrating this anomaly.
However, Brian Tracy raises a good point about this 5th step. The reward can be self created. This is actually something I do all the time. For example, if I study effectively for an hour, I will reward myself with ten minutes of playing around on the Internet.
